Now, before you wonder why a pontoon is in the Boatart shop, a little history. This pontoon belongs the family of some special customers. They asked us to simply upgrade their boat. At first, we said we only do wood boats. But, then the idea of remaking it into a custom "ChrisToon" started to take shape. We have no idea what we will end up with, but let's have some fun!

This is a very old, beautifully built model of a 14th century Spanish Galleon, they type which would have carried large amounts of gold from the New World back to Spain. The model is at least 75 years old, possibly older and was done by a master craftsman. The condition now is poor, but we will restore it to its former beauty, or almost so! Follow the progress in this task!

We have completed and delivered this 1800's steam powered tug from Door County Wisconsin. The customer's steam engine is operational and the Arctic has completed sea trials. The Arctic was built based on a few old photos, which means the the plans had to be created from scratch.
