Excellent boat. The hull number indicates that she is likely the earliest one in existence.

The forward section of the rub rail has been replaced at one time or another. Who ever did it did a good job, however they used red oak in place of the mahogany which was original. This resulted in rot at the joint. Note the rub rail piece on the right which is original, and it is not rotted. Had they used white oak it may have been ok but red oak has no resistance to rot.

A problem area. This is the aft end of the windshield frame. People tend to grab the frame when going forward. This puts a stress on the frame leading to cracking. Someone did an excellent job of repairing this area but it is time to renew the repair.

Much of the
Much of the "nasty" job of sanding the interior of the hull is done. This entails lots of detail sanding in small pockets..not fun! Notice the steering column...it is only temporarily moved for access...looks kind of cool tho doesnt it?
