Ready to go sailing! Not really! Lots of interior work to go and the Subaru is a bit small to handle it except for around the boatyard.

The engine, after many hours of carefully removing the cylinder head. Cylinders 3 and 4 had no compression. I found that the exhaust valves had stuck open, common in flat head engines. Lots of WD 40 and some gentle persuasion worked.

Wet for the first time in 23 years! All went well. A few details and she floats well! The waterline "guess" was almost exactly on the mark. Next is to step the "stick" which will be in a few days. Engine sounds like a sewing machine!
