The Cheoy Lee WILLIE B is now FOR SALE!
The boom goosneck fitting. After having the old plating removed, I noticed a crack in the casting. This has probably been there since day one, but I will have it brazed just to be sure. A failure here could be catastrophic under sailing stress!

This was found in the bilges of the boat. No idea where it came from. It is hand carved in teak. It will, of course be prominently mounted on the boat because it undoubteldly guided the vessel safely for 40 years. It was washed in vinegar and water to clean it. a small amount of teak oil was applied.
